Kerry studied Exercise Sciences at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, specializing in Sports Management. She is a personal trainer, certified and registered yoga instructor, as well as a cycling and Pilate’s instructor. Her background is in dance, swimming and running. The latter two have been combined into the sport of triathlon, while dance and the life lessons learned carry into every aspect of her life. She has competed in several half- and full-marathon events and numerous triathlons, including the Steelhead Half-Ironman in Benton Harbor Michigan. In order to continue with pain free enjoyment of the daily activities that she enjoys, she adds strength and conditioning regimens, as well as yoga, into her life.
Kerry’s wide vision goal is to promote healthy living for a healthier world: physically, spiritually, and mentally. In her personal life, she achieves this by pushing herself through workouts, however short they may be at times; displaying a positive lifestyle for her children and husband with quiet times & verbal encouragement; and challenging her mind to learn new facts, subject matter or material.
